Blog Post Week 2
The big question addressed in lab, and a description of what you did. The big question that we addressed in lab this week was about how to make a race exciting for kids between two people that run different speeds. In our table groups we had to create and use a model to demonstrate what we would do to make a race exciting. We did two different types of walks and timed how long it both took them, and figured out the average meters per second. Using this we could decide on how much of a head start one should get over the other to make the race fair and interesting. A description of what you learned in Thursday's lecture. In lecture, I learned a lot more about the specifics of the models and about the specifics of the math behind this. I learned about how to measure motion which was speed = distance/time. I also learned about describing motion in the lab with seps, dcis, and cccs. Answer questions about the weekly textbook reading: What did you learn? One thing that I learned f...
